What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement relevant, engaging internal communications campaigns: You'll craft compelling content across a variety of channels (email, events, digital platforms) which bring to life our purpose, values and business objectives in a way that informs, engages, and inspires our employees across the UK and Ireland 
  • Deliver our internal communications strategy: You'll collaborate closely with the Head of Internal Communications to support the execution of our overarching internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment with both global and UK&I business objectives and vision. 
  • Manage internal communications channels: You'll oversee the day-to-day management of our internal communications channels, ensuring they are current, relevant, and engaging.
  • A digital content creator: You’ll be familiar with how to use design platforms such as PhotoShop or Canva, to create striking visuals and content for internal comms channels. 
  • Create compelling, original content to amplify our messages: You’ll have an inherent sense for storytelling and news, identifying and sharing inspiring stories to foster a strong sense of pride and belonging within L’Oréal. You’ll know the best format and platform to share it.  You’ll ensure effective communications on the latest business updates, policies and initiatives. 
  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness of internal communications: You'll use data and insights to track the impact of our communications efforts and identify areas for improvement quickly.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including senior leadership:  You’ll develop communications plans and initiatives in response to business priorities and work collaboratively with teams and leaders across the business, including DEI, Sustainability, HR, and our brands, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with business objectives 
  • Challenge traditional tactics: You’ll know good internal communications methodology but you’ll come up with new ideas to bring our internal communications strategy to life, proactively identifying new opportunities and avenues to support initiatives across the organisation
  • A seasoned event planner: You’ll be able to take a high level idea /brief for an event and support on the organisation of it from concept to delivery, e.g. logistics, messaging, briefing stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Demonstrable years of experience in a creative communications role or a related field.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to use Adobe Campaign Manager, Canva/Photoshop/InDesign. Video editing abilities are a plus.
