PPD Business Head

Responsible for the Professional Products Division (PPD) Direct Sourcing for North America

Define a vision and strategic stakes for the PPD sourcing business team, in full alignment

  • Connect with the WW Senior Sourcing Leadership team, Heads of Sourcing in the different zones, Suppliers’ Senior Leadership (CEO, Presidents, etc.) to detect strategic and emerging trends.


Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to flawlessly to deliver successful product launches and superior sourcing performance.

  • As a member of the Director of Operations Management Committee, the Head of Business will influence the cross-functional team and business; bring sourcing insight in the D.O.’s decision-making.
  • Be the voice of Sourcing and cascade the Business needs to the team.
  • Supplier selection and management - from pre-assessment to implementation
  • Timely managed quoting process, providing most optimal possible costs first time;
  • Ensure proper implementation support, pro-activity addressing potential lead-time and capacity issues;


Gather business and market insights/trends and translate those into sourcing actions for top and/or bottom line improvement for the team:

  • Participate in panier and trend sessions with development/marketing, supporting targeted innovation projects
  • Drive gross margin improvement and actively work on benchmark activities.
  • Empower the team to bring solutions and out-of the box ideas.


Manage the financial performance of the division

  • Present and defend financial results to Ops Management
  • Accountable for overall Sourcing performance


Drive the PPD Sourcing team to:

  • Anticipate, Assess, Support the Business needs.
  • Adopt the total Cost of Ownership (TCO) mindset
  • Be 100% accountable for financial results, including delivering budget and driving purchasing actions to bring savings.
