Section 2:  Job Summary:


The Divisional Operations Assistant Project Manager, under the guidance of the Director, is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day management of in-store display projects from inception to in-store to include:

- Critical display meetings set-up, including CDRM, National Creative Go Live and Account Specific Go Live

   Meetings and Display Tracking Meeting

- Display brief initiation and planning

- Directing and managing display artwork execution

- Monitoring and expediting display artwork approvals

- On-time release of National/Account Specific artwork

- Scheduling of all display activities for assembly production and shipment to accounts.

                - The Project Manager is the primary project expert and team lead ensuring all business and project goals are met         while also managing all aspects of the project schedule, resources and budgets..


Section 3:  Job Requirements (Minimum number years of experience, skills, certification and academic background required to perform this job):


Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required.

3-5 years of project management experience desired, with a minimum of 2 years exposure in display structure production helpful

Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Works with marketing and creative leads and provides experience-based input including budgets, resources, timing, scope of work, etc. to ensure that project parameters align with divisional expectations.


Works in concert with Promotional Purchasing, Creative and Finance to ensure all projects remain on budget and within scope.


Partners with all team members to ensure flawless project execution.  Reviews projects for alignment with industry, account and vendor specifications.  Ensures alignment with the National Creative Go Live or Account Specific Creative Go Live Briefs and project specifications.


Captures lessons learned throughout the life-cycle of the project, as well as at its conclusion, and develops and implements action plans for best practice improvements.

Total should = 100%

Directs and manages the execution of store display projects from inception through completion to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, error free and meet internal and external account team needs.  Assesses project requirements, resources, milestones and specific deliverables to manage the development process. Follows Project Management disciplines in the following areas: Scope management, Schedule management, Cost management, Issue management, Risk management, Quality management, Resource management, and Communication management. 



Motivates and directs the project team. Develops, implements and manages the project time line.

Acts as primary interface with Creative and Promotional Purchasing leadership, as well as the Marketing/

Shopper Marketing teams on issues regarding the project deliverables. Accountable for meeting project schedule and results. 



Communicates regularly with all project constituents (cross-functional teams) to address questions, concerns, feedback, and proactively address obstacles to maintain overall team collaboration and quality project output. Actively chairs all meetings for assigned projects; Coordinates with the Artwork Project Managers to maintain Display Management Report and timelines as needed, documents next steps and issues solutions for Divisional and cross-functional team members.



Supports adoption and utilization of the SharePoint and ESKO systems, contributing to greater efficiencies in collaboration, routing for approval, and file-sharing cross-geography.


Mentors Artwork Project Managers to promote internal learning and development within the Consumer Products Division (CPD) to achieve business growth by engaging them in processes, meetings and relevant activities to ensure team alignment and effectiveness.

Builds effective project teams with the ability to develop and master balanced project plans and keep the team updated on progress and issues.
