Together with the support of the greater multifunctional team, including sales, finance, marketing and supply chain, the National Account Manager for Garnier haircare, haircolor and Ombrelle is responsible for developing and nurturing the retailer partnership, while delivering on both the customer business plan and L’Oreal Canada’s sales and profit objectives.      

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Account Management
  • Lead and nurture the retailer relationship at all levels and functions
  • Build and lead full year Joint Business Plans
  • Responsible for selling innovation, optimizing distribution, seeking out and capturing additional category opportunities, including shelf space, shelf positioning, display and flyer
  • Closely monitor and communicate results, risks and opportunities with both internal and retail teams

Revenue, Profit and Forecasting
  • Own and manage the planning and execution of revenue and trade plans to deliver on profit and share expectations
  • Work with demand planner, trade marketing, marketing and finance teams to deliver on both revenue and sales forecasts

  • University degree is required, preferably in business
  • Previous National Account Management experience in CPG industry 
  • Experience with fact-based selling and category reviews
  • Experience with sales reporting systems, including A/C Nielsen - Retial Link experience an asset
  • Understanding of financials including trade spend and P&L
  • Excellent communications skills
