Section 2:  Job Summary

Responsible for the content strategy and social calendar for my category. Accountable for the growth of Redken color in the US. Below is the job summary and expectations.

  • Contributes to the strategic direction of color brands, striving to drive color business through social and content marketing
  • Consistent alignment with Pod Lead and collaboration across functional team
  • Oversees expression of Redken haircolor on Redken color channels as well as partner channels
  • Driver of educational focused Facebook lives, Instagram lives, Salon takeovers, trade show social content capture and Studio 404 management
  • Manage the Facebook and Pinterest channels for the brand and collaborate with the DMI and haircare and styling social lead on local needs for Instagram, leading local agile content when necessary
  • Contribute to all major brand meetings as directed
  • Partner with cross departmental team members to help create the culture and work environment of my Pod


Section 3:  Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a communications, online, or digital/marketing media role
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong understanding and interest in digital and communication industry
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Programs
  • Detail-oriented; ability to work on complex digital projects with multiple touch-points and integrations
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and results-driven thinker, who thrives in an environment where new ideas are championed
  • US Color Market share, Color Net Sales
  • New product contribute and base business growth experience
  • Will have a “brand love measurement” reach and engagement
  • Is a digital asset and delivers agile shoot content
  • Has an in depth knowledge of CMO/brand priorities and strategy
  • Experience and knowledge of social influencers and community management
  • Understands channel best practices, key growth drivers, and competitive levers.


Section 4:  Judgment and Decision Making

The incumbent must exercise discretion and independent judgment on all tasks and must be able to work independently and make decisions when needed. Must be able to work autonomously and feel comfortable taking on large responsibilities. It is important he/she will use discretion on when to involve management in the day to day matters.  Moderate supervision or approval may be required for events and project work requiring analysis.  For management and organization of the floor and meetings, no supervision is required.

Stock product and supply closets, filing, minor lifting under 10 lbs


Section 6:  Financial Scope

This position does not directly manage a budget but should have capability to do so if required.  Interacts with Finance as needed to resolve discrepancies or gain approvals.  Will process purchase orders when necessary
