Displaying an attractive catalog of our products is a key success factor for our eCommerce clients (targeting 20%). Accessing our products and brands digital assets (how to, ads, photos and videos, etc.) in real time is now crucial for our countries to promote them efficiently.

To answer this need the Opera program was launched as part of our 20-50-100 strategy. The program aims to consolidate our product data (Product Information Management – PIM), and share it with our eCommerce clients. In addition, it has the ambition of simplifying the distribution process of digital assets by our brands, and their customization by country (Digital Asset Management – DAM).

The Opera Program is both the launch of a digital technology and a game changer in our ways  of working. For DMIs, who create the products launch packs (description, benefits, formulas, international photos and videos), and for countries that take them to market (eCommerce product page, photos and videos translated into local languages, and adapted to local needs). It is definitely a business project to help accelerate our business growth online.

In this context, the L’Oréal Corporate CDO is looking for a DAM Project Manager.

Under the governance of both, the global business and the global IT leads, the DAM project manager will be in charge of deploying the solution to countries and marketing brands.

The pilot phase is in progress with France, Germany, USA, Garnier and La Roche Posay.

Each of the pilot has a Project Manager and we are looking for the person that will deploy one of the two brands and the following ones. Depending on the brand, the project could include the PIM deployment.

The different activities will be the next ones:

Management :

  • Ensure the success of the project, on time, on quality and on cost;
  • Always ensure the global model consistency with corporate teams;
  • Build the roll-out planning with all stakeholders;
  • Coordinate the different actors of the project
    • External resources under his responsibility;
    • IT entities (corporate and local);
    • Editor’s activity for its project;
    • Business activities and deliverables;

  • Communicate KPIs and Risks with the program management;

Roll-Out 

  •  Participate to design workshops and ensure the specification quality and delivery;
  •  Participate to the solution configuration (data model, workflows, syndication channels,
  •  Follow all project deliveries in terms of:
    • Change management 
    • Tool configuration 
    • Data and asset collection / data and asset migration 
    • Integration (technical interface) 
  • Ensure successful User Acceptance Tests with the business 
  • Build the self-roll-out phase that comes after the go-live of each country and marketing direction;

      Support :

  •          Assist the business during the Hypercare phase prior to the global support phase 

Experience and skills required

At least 5 years of experience with:

  •       Strong project management skills
  •       Good drive in terms of resource management (internal/external, Business/IT)
  •       Experience on DAM on DAM implementation
  •       Experience on e-retail/e-commerce projects
  •       Experience on a PIM is a plus 
  •       Experience in a complex organization (several countries and functions)
