Section 1: Job Summary
Accountable for growth and development of the haircare category on Redken. Responsible for the strategy, implementation, and evaluation of the business in Salon Centric and chain accounts. As the category lead the responsibility includes the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including all promotional activities and product launches. Interact effectively with departments such as: sales, operations, finance, education, public relations, marketing services, creative, sales administration, global marketing team and senior management team. Monitor and analyze business results to recommend opportunities for improving plans and their execution. Role will have a direct report.

Section 3: Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Execution and development of clear brand building plans in line with the objectives of the division including: 3 year marketing plan, new product launches, promotions and communication strategy. Work closely with all US cross functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Media, Communications, Education and CRM)
2. Manage forecasts, brand P&L, stock inventory for promotional activities and product launches. Own analytics and business drivers.
3. Prepare and deliver presentation to sales, distributor teams, and internal teams.
4. Interface with key salons, stylists and distributors for understanding of market trends and competitor activities.
5. Conduct marketing research, follow up on campaigns and launches, and provide Senior Management team with regular quantitative and qualitative reports. Analyze market segments to determine need gaps in portfolio
