POSITION TITLE: Director Product Master Data Quality Management and Enrichment

POSITION PURPOSE:
L’Oreal is creating a data-driven competitive advantage through solid foundations and use cases at scale. Master Data is the foundation of this strategy.
This position is responsible for managing product master data quality management and enrichment for all codes used in commercial systems (Finished Goods, Assembly and 3rd Party Purchased) across L’Oreal USA. This includes optimizing the quality of data in DPM and Elixpedia thru managing the product codification, revision and attribute management used in Fusion SAP operations and all downstream systems master data dependencies (Wise, global data sync, APEX). Must ensure data quality using GS1 standards as well as L’Oreal norms. Manages a team of divisionally aligned resources across four divisions who are responsible for executing the master data enrichment activities across 35+ signatures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Champion of the quality of Product Master Data across all systems
Change agent who supports, assesses and drives the transformation of the Central Data Excellence team.
Influence cross functional teams supporting quality data.
Harmonize and simplify processes to drive business value and efficiencies.
Guide process by applying fundamental good data management practices (GS1 and L’Oreal norms).
Partnering with functional data stewards to provide training and continuous improvement support for all DPM / Elixpedia users across multiple domains (Marketing, Finance, GBSC, Assembly)
Manage Product Life Cycle with data accuracy, consistency & status changes.
Work with International Zones and Affiliates on Global BPG and Unika Hierarchy
Support master data flows to Global Data Synchronization that interface with our retailer's systems.
Establish a data driven culture via reporting and KPI’s to ensure data integrity.
Partner with Data Excellence Project Management, Analytics and Continuous Improvement team on transversal initiatives.
Coordinate with and support KISS project team as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or related field required
10+ years of demonstrated Supply Chain Management experience
Minimum of 3 years of Master Data Management and analysis experience in a data-intensive consumer goods or retail company.
Ability to manage and influence at all levels to leadership, cross functionally to gain stakeholder alignment and engagement.
Demonstrated skills with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change, performance management system design and training.
History of building highly engaged teams delivering best in class results with the ability to unlock new capabilities.
Develops others by sharing know-how, expertise, knowledge, procedures
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to seek effective and efficient ways to achieve results
Understanding when issues need to be escalated and provide summarized information to suggest/enable decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge with SAP ECC and MDM tools (Elixpedia, DPM, and Power BI)
