ETHICS OFFICER

Within the Office of the Chief Ethics Officer located in Paris, France, reporting to the VP- Ethics Programs, participate in the development and implementation of L’ORÉAL’s Ethics and Human Rights programs, and in particular :

Development, deployment and operation of reporting and assessment tools

·                Research and benchmarking

·                Management of IT and Digital vendors

·                Toll deployment including user training

·                Data collection and analysis in order to contribute to the Ethics and Human Rights risk mapping

·                In cooperation with the Ethics Communication Manager, preparation of various reporting (Group Annual Report, Group Registration Report, UN Global Compact Report etc…)

·                In cooperation with the Senior Ethics Officer, implementation of whistleblowing and conflict of interest disclosure tools

Ethics policies and procedures

·                Research, benchmarking, concept notes

·                Policy/procedure/guideline drafting

·                Participation in internal/external working groups

·                In cooperation with the Ethics Communication Manager, deployment of policies/procedures

Other activities

·                Participate in animating the Ethics Correspondent Network

·                Support the Ethics Correspondents

·                Contribute to the Office of the Chief Ethics Officer’s quality program

Activities may vary in accordance with the Office of the Chief Ethics Officer’s annual objectives


Domestic & International travel may be required. 

KEY COMPETENCIES

·                Masters degree in Business Ethics, Compliance, Legal or related field

·                First successful related experience in an international company

·                Bilingual French/English

·                Strict respect of confidentiality

·                Strong attention to detail

·                Good analytical abilities

·                Strong writing skills

·                Interest in IT and digital tools

·                Comfortable in dealing with numbers and statistics

·                Good project-management skills

·                Comfortable working in a complex international environment and good team player

·                Innovative, adaptable and ability to deal with changing priorities and emergencies

·                Good listening and teaching skills
