We have a suitable opportunity in the Finance function for the position of Manager – HR Controlling. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the HR Controlling for L’Oreal India. The Candidate should have 4-6 years of professional experience in FMCG sector. The location of the job will be Mumbai/Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

 

Summary:

The Manager – HR Controlling plays a vital role in managing and overseeing Headcount and People Cost within the organization. This position requires a strong analytical mind, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and Zone teams. The HR Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of HC and IPC, providing key insights to senior management, and managing recharge processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • HC/IPC Budget Management: Manage and control headcount and IPC budgets within the Carol system. This includes analyzing trends, preparing forecasts, and ensuring alignment with pre-budget budgets and ongoing trends. Proactively identify and address potential budget variances.
  • Flash Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present data-driven insights on HC, IPC, and attrition trends to the Managing Director, HR Director, and CFO during regular flash meetings. Provide concise and actionable recommendations based on data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Monthly Provisioning: Calculate and provide accurate and timely monthly provisions for various HR-related expenses, including one-time expenses, severance pay, Short-Term Assignments (STA), expatriate costs, Long Term Incentives, and other relevant accruals. Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of these expenses.
  • Monthly IPC Data Reconciliation: Collaborate closely with Finance Controllers to ensure the accuracy of IPC-related entries in financial systems. Perform monthly reconciliations of HC and IPC data, investigating and explaining any deviations or discrepancies.
  • Recharge Processing: Work with Zone HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Finance Controllers to generate Purchase Orders (POs) for recharges. Manage the timely and accurate processing of Inter-Group (IG) invoices and zone recharges, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal policies.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to improve HC and IPC management processes. Recommend and implement enhancements to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
