Corporate HR CMO/Digital, Talent Management 12-MONTH INTERN

Job Summary:
Are you looking to make a career in HR? What better way to start your career in a corporate HR role with visibility to each division and exposure to senior global leadership. We are currently looking for a 12-month intern to work with our CMO/Digital and Talent Management HR team. This is a paid internship opportunity that requires a candidate who has graduated with a degree within the last 12 months and is able to work 40 hours per week.  This internship will provide an opportunity to build a foundational knowledge in HR and learn about the industry with the number one beauty company in the world. Throughout the 12 months, the incumbent will also work with multiple HRIS and reporting systems, perform hands-on HR generalist tasks, and receive a well-rounded skillset of how to be a strategic HR professional. 


HR Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
•Issue, track and follow up on new hire, transfer, promotion and term workflows
•Trouble-shoot employee questions
•Facilitate all non-exempt recruitment, interview scheduling and follow-up
•New hire process for all employees which includes: HireRight background/drug screen, RedCarpet new hire paperwork, space planning/telephone set up, corporate card application, etc.
•Prepare for annual meeting such as talent review and year-end compensation reviews
•Coordinate logistics for meetings, quarterly new hire breakfast, lunch and learns, etc.
•Provide support during the new hire integration process
•Prepare and maintain reports
•Update and maintain Org Charts
•Manage Employee file system

Analytics/Reporting:

  • Work with the Talent Management team to consolidate data for CMO and Marketing Talent.
  • Running and analyzing reports for junior talent populations
  • Creating and updating presentations to report on talent status of operational marketers and international mobility in the U.S.

Projects:

  • Support the deployment of events amongst our Talent communities and trainings on specific dimensions (Cross cultural- inspiration). You will have the opportunity to take ownership of making networking events a success by working with our high-end vendors and owning the event details. 

This involves logistics:

  • Leading up to events (planning room, guest lists, invitations, equipment, food, consultant scheduling, room / Materials arrangements, enrollment tracking, language classes) 
  • During live event (room, signage, equipment, attendance, food)
  • Following event (break down of room, evaluations tracking, etc.)

Administrative departmental duties including, but not limited to:
• Travel arrangements, phone coverage, route mail, expense reports
• Maintain calendars and arrange appointments
• Maintain files for expense reports, invoices, memo’s
• Process invoices
•Coordinate and prepare materials for all presentations to senior management
• All other necessary administrative duties

Job Requirements:
•Eligible participants must be in enrolled in senior year of college or within 12 months of graduation from a four year undergraduate college or university  with educational history continuous and no breaks greater than five months between diploma/degrees received. 

• Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Strong verbal communication, writing and interpersonal skills

• High level of organization
•Ability to handle fast-paced environment and to multi-task

•Prior HR experience preferred
•Strong analytics
•Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

•Prior internship experience preferred
