Come and be a part of the exciting and dynamic world of L'Oréal USA as a Junior Marketing Associate! The L'Oréal USA 12-Month Junior Marketing Associate (JMA) internship program allows creative visionaries and strategic thinkers to enhance their marketing knowledge in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. The JMA program is paid internship opportunity that for candidates who have graduated with a degree within the last 12 months and is able to work 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to join the Urban Decay Global Marketing (DMI) team f= in the Luxury Products Division of L’Oreal USA. This position will be part of the Global 360 Marketing team with the goal of creating and executing big picture activations to promote sales & brand awareness through all touchpoints while transforming trends into disruptive product creation and innovation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Ideate product innovation and launch animations through consumer audience targeting & analysis, competitive research & trend analysis
  • Assist in building a 360-collaboration campaign with cross-functional teams including our Merchandising, Social, Digital, Product Development and Creative teams to ensure successful execution (creating copy, managing timelines, building campaign decks, etc.)
  • Monthly market analysis and beauty competitive reports
  • Preparing presentations for internal and/or external brand meetings and updating as needed: includes trend recaps and creating graphs and charts
  • Taking minutes during meeting/calls
  • Managing product requests for shoots, meetings and retailer meetings

  • Well-equipped in Excel spreadsheets and knowledge to create chart/graphs/analysis
  • Proven command PowerPoint, Word
  • Previous work experience and involvement with on-campus organizations or activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
     

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

  • Candidates must have received a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field of study, Possess a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Prior internship or office experience preferred
  • Recent graduate (within 12 months) of a BA degree in a marketing or digital related field.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US on a fulltime, permanent, and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

SOFTWARE:

  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Office (expertise in Power Point & Excel)
  • Experience in cloud-based systems
