Reporting to the AVP of Retail Operations, the Senior Manager of Store Operations and Asset Protection oversees day-to-day loss prevention efforts to safeguard company assets, minimize shortages and reduce fraud.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Develops and delivers loss prevention training program for store associates.
•Ensures that security equipment such as alarms and cameras are in working order.
•Identifies, recommends, and implements systems to minimize loss of merchandise, money, or other company assets.
•Conducts Operational Assessments and investigates sources of known losses.
•Monitors inventory adjustments to identify shortage trends.
•Reviews Exception Reports to identify theft, fraud or training gaps.
•Investigates external theft incidents and suspicious customer activity.
•Conducts internal theft and/or fraud investigations including conducting integrity interviews.
•Conducts periodic visits to stores with focus on high-risk locations.
•Assists and supports the AVP of Retail of Operations with writing, editing and maintaining effective Policies & Procedures.
•Leads the Monthly Audit Meeting and presents content to key partners based on previous month’s Loss Prevention activity.
•Directs and supports stores on Operational processes such as Return-To-DC, Transfers, and ordering of supplies.
•Leads interactions with Armored Car, Alarm, CCTV and Security vendors.
•Performs other duties as needed.
