Section 2:  Job Summary:


Execution of learning programs throughout the territory as it relates to Onboarding, Seasonal Seminars, digital learning and channel specific training needs, in close partnership with the VP Education & Eventing and Field Sales VPs and Regional Directors.  Work closely with Sales and Training Executives and Account Managers to develop their training/coaching/facilitation skills in order to ensure KCR learning needs are met. Ensure the Kiehl’s customer experience is understood and executed at all doors, respectively. Monitor talent management tools to maximize KCR performance and retail achievement.  Present at key events and media engagements. The expectation is that the Training & Education Executive will spend 80% of their time in the field.


Section 3:  Job Requirements:


Bachelor degree and minimum of 5+ years experience in cosmetic or retail management

2+ years experience in training & facilitation

Self-motivated, results oriented, creative thinker

Excellent facilitation, communication, presentation and organizational skills

Analytical in approach to identifying opportunities

Knowledge and awareness of beauty industry, market and competitive trends

Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Ability to establish strong working relationships

Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)


Section 4:  Judgment and Decision Making:


Strong judgment and decision-making skills are required in this role. There is moderate supervision.

Annual Budget Responsibility:  Personal T&E budget & seminar budget for entire territory

  1. Facilitate highly motivational, interactive and results-focused seminars including, but not limited to:  Onboarding, Advanced Seasonal Seminars, Train-The-Trainers, Coach-the-Coaches, Counter Managers Summits and Call Center Trainings.




  1. Communicate planned dates and locations of education seminars to field, as applicable. Observe and recap all KCRs’ performance in seminars to appropriate field executives, including recommendations for further coaching and development. Prepare seminar & budget recap at the close of each class and send reports to Home Office weekly. Conduct all training endeavors on time and on budget.




  1. Ensure consistent implementation of education programs including product knowledge, selling techniques, service standards, coaching and Kiehl’s culture in partnership with the VP Education & Eventing, Regional Directors, Sales and Training Executives and Account Managers.


  1. Analyze talent management information on KCRs. Evaluate and discuss “heat map” doors’ performance monthly with Regional Directors and VP Education & Eventing. Provide action plan to celebrate and improve performance.


  1. Present in high profile and high volume events at key retail partners.
