IT EMEA Data Domain is in charge to design and develop the data products for the countries in the zone. Our products are mainly developed on the Google Cloud Platform or SAP HANA. In this context, the CIO Office is in charge to manage the portfolio of data products, including demand management, project follow up, budget follow-up. It also manages the governance for the data domain interacting with many diverse groups around EMEA.

In a context where the data team has just been created, the DATA PMO & GOVERNANCE will evolve strongly in the coming year.

  • The intern will be in charge to put in place and to coordinate, according to EMEA CIO office, the portfolio management of the data team.
  • The portfolio management concerns the integration of new products, the product follow-up, the budget follow-up for the full domain along with the reporting associated to it. One of the biggest challenges will be how to manage a Products Portfolio for a zone organization, involving different regions and countries
  • During this mission the candidate will discover the data world and the multicultural organization of Loreal working with persons around Europe (and sometimes around the world!).
  • Along the assignation, the candidate will learn about how to transform divers’ teams to work together with a unique objective. The main assignation will be the portfolio management, being able to discover and cross all the Data initiatives from all countries while organizing and coordinate the different governance levels with all teams.

    In this position, a good communication and level of English is key, as you will be working in a multicultural context. 
  • Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have good socializing skills as your daily job will include constant interaction with multiple stakeholders. A good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint is also required.
  • Finally, we would favour someone who has some experience with collaboration tools (MIRO, Mural, Kahoot) and reporting tools (Power BI).
