Commercial Finance Controller
Some info on the everyday accountabilities of our new Commercial Finance Controller:
The Commercial Finance Controller will:
Have specific brands and customers ownership and will lead the financial reporting process.
Be leveraging business insights into the division’s financial performance, driving actions for continuous improvement within the department.
If you wish to become a successful Commercial Finance Controller in L’Oreal, it is important to demonstrate ability to perform excellence at the following aspects of our business:
Report monthly actual clients data, analyze and interpret results.
Be responsible for the financial management of the trade allowances, ensuring that the commercial policy is updated, communicated and respected.
Full P&L responsibility for a specific product category
Maximize financial systems usage and efficiency (SAP, BOOST, COMPASS) as well as leverage knowledge and intuition around systems.
Work in cross functional teams to prepare the budget and the trends of key accounts, performing analysis on client P&L to ensure profitable growth.
Review the promotional spending per category/channel to optimize investment and maximize ROI.
Act as a business partner to Sales & Marketing function , aiming to enable sustainable results.
Own P&L leverage through cost control. Safeguard that financial reporting is harmonized with the norms, the group standards and the best practices of internal control.
To thrive in this job opportunity, please focus on the following criteria that are quite significant for our position:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance required.
MBA/ACCA or equivalent would be a plus.
Strong computer skills required (Advanced Excel a must), enhanced systems literacy.
Project management exposure would be an asset.
Must possess strong: analytical, strategic & problem solving skills; planning & organizational skills; oral and written communication skills; leadership skills in terms of engagement, influencing and cross-functional cooperation; ability to maintain an open dialogue with the division’s gatekeepers; focus on growth and continuous optimization.
