Media Manager

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, he/she will be supporting brands in the strategic evolution of the way L’Oréal Malaysia does media to make it more data-driven, innovative and professional, to maximize productivity (effectiveness and efficiency), integrating all media (on/off), to drive greater impact across Paid, Owned, Earned for maximum business results.

Roles

1. Ensure Best Media Intelligence Road Map implementation

  • Coordinate the workflow between media agency, CMI and brands on:
  • Brand & Consumer Media Knowledge
  • ROI & Advertising efficacy
  • Planning Optimization
  • Competitive Benchmark
  • Media trends

2. Track Media Buying Performance

  • Track monthly & annual Media Agency performance vs. KPI’s + Invoicing process
  • Ensure L'Oréal teams engage with updated L'Oréal media norms & processes
  • Identify the right metrics to accomplish marketing objectives
  • Coordinate external projects focus on controlling

3. Monitor Joint Business Plans with Top Media Players

  • Ensure accomplishment of agreements regarding: planning optimization, measurement, innovation & education

4. Consultancy & Support to L'Oréal teams

  • Challenge and clarify media agency proposals when needed
  • Assist the implementation of new media procedures based on best practices
  • Recommend & Push new media approaches

5. Media Agency Control: Finance tools and contract

  • Ensure Media Agency engage with updated L'Oréal media norms & processes
