ABOUT THE JOB

Matrix is one of the fastest growing brands in the industry. We are a leading brand in American salons, looking for a business savvy sales representative to help us accelerate growth in the New Zealand market. 

Based in Auckland, you are tasked to effectively manage and grow a sales territory, with up to 8 nights away from home per month. Your efficient call cycle, excellence in adding value to small business customers and hunger for new business will see you achieving your sales budget from day one.

You understand the characteristics of modern day buyers and use your natural talent for people and creativity to stand out from the crowd.  You are proficient with numbers and use this to your advantage when identifying profit opportunities for your clients and analysing your territory. With our help you will become a first class retail trainer for stylists and enjoy the challenge of keeping them inspired in partnership with your technical educator. You are constantly monitoring your own performance and welcome coaching and feedback.

ABOUT YOU

• You have 5 years previous experience within a similar role within a similar environment
• Are you courageous? Able to have honest and open conversations and be client centric
• You will be able to build lasting respectful client relationships
• You will have a genuine passion and a real “hunter” mentality for acquiring new business
• You will have an understanding the context of small business
• Do you have proven direct selling and strong territory management experience?
• Strong organisational skills?
• Is your style energetic, approachable, fun and ‘on the ball’?
• Are you proficient with numeracy and computer skills?
