Area Manager - London

The Professional Products Division is universally known for exclusively supplying salons and other professional customers with the most advanced technologies in hair, skin and beauty products. The 11 brands within this division are L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Shu Uemura Art of Hair, Redken, Pureology, Matrix, Biolage, Décleor, Carita, Baxter of California and soon to join the division will be Pulp Riot. Our brands have made us the world leader in professional beauty products and one of the most dynamic places to pursue your career in the UK.

You will:

As an Area Manager you will be accountable for driving growth in your territory, to be achieved through the following:

• Setting the team goals to achieve against company growth objectives
• Development of key strategic initiatives through using your understanding of key market insights
• Developing our client’s business to ensure our overall market share growth
• Lead and develop the team with regard to major account presentation and acquisition
• Develop key customers to realise their full potential
• Team management will be a core part of your role from driving KPIs, brand awareness and driving yours teams development

• Through your proactive nature you will actively seek out new solutions and ideas for your direct team and the wider L’Oréal network.

You have: 

• Experience working in a fast paced sales environment

• Team management experience from driving KPIs, brand awareness and driving your teams development

• Excellent communication and influencing for results skills with experience of building relationships across all levels

• A solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity.

• Experience of managing change - through rapid growth.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to analyse data, draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly.

• Strong planning and organisation skills – with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required to meet deadlines.
