Data Manager

In the BI team, you will need to show a passion for data and analytics and the technical skills to match, to quickly become a go-to advisor and partner for our business including managers and sponsors. And finally you will need to collaborate with our team and others: Digital, Infrastructure, etc., and mentor newcomers.

You Will: 

Act as a Team Leader and a business engagement professional on data topics:

Provide the Zone and Group Data teams with a focal point for the deployment of major initiatives into the UKI hub.
Impact analysis on current landscape and processes of data products coming from group or zone

Identify local integration and migration requirements
Ensure progress on backlog items with local deliverables
Mitigate project risks and escalate when required
Provide UK stakeholders with a focal point for their data requirements.
Examine our portfolio of strategic tools for opportunity to respond to these requirements
Separate the truly local requirement from the yet to be delivered roadmap
Understand business requests and transform into technical requirements for the data engineers.
Ensure that the engineers have completed reasonable testing before UAT
Provide timely communication on all aspects of project work to all stakeholders in conjunction with PMs from Zone or Group
Ensure the UKI business are receiving the correct support from the support partners.

You Have: 

Customer centricity multi businesses (Digital marketing, commerce, Supply chain, Finance etc)
Demonstrable experience of GCP and cloud platforms generally
Leadership qualities among stakeholders and technicians
Familiarity & experience with Agile project methodology
Meaning behind the data
Ability to reconcile
Experience of change management and strong project management skills
• Experience line managing desirable 
Excellent written and verbal communications
