Head of Visual Merchandising & Field Merchandising – Luxe Division

Reporting to the VM & RD Director for Luxe, Head of VM Luxe is responsible for elevating the customer instore brand experience whilst ensuring efficiency and sustainability across the division.  
 
Role of Head of VM is to support VM Managers with their 3 Star Animations (i.e. LVEB 10 year anniversary), to enable them to work smarter within their Brand Activation teams. The Head of VM should have a strong focus on Luxe efficiencies and work strategically with the VM Teams to elevate the activations whilst reducing cost & waste within the division.   
Working collaboratively with the Luxe commercial director and Purchasing Manager, the Head of VM will coordinate the retailer packages to ensure accurate, qualitative, sustainable and efficient implementation in conjunction with VM manager 

You will

Dotted line to Head of VM & Merchandising Managers for design alignment on all 3 Star Animations across the Luxe division to ensure ‘brand magic’ instore  
Manage a structured Luxe visual merchandising calendar for economies of scale on retailer packages and lightbox updates  
Challenge suppliers to produce industry leading quality whilst being sustainable and efficient 
Work closely with VM teams and purchasing on large VM tenders  
Inspire and evolve the Brand VM teams to produce unrivalled design with creativity that challenges and excites 
Nurture and engage top VM talent within the Luxe Division 
Responsible for: 
Delivering top line sales results and growing the business through business insight to action 
Maintaining a focus on individual brand quality and differentiation  
Supporting VM Teams in creating emotionally engaging customer experiences, consistent with the brand vision 
Building customer loyalty through current brand strategies 
Building and growing high performing teams 
Driving operating fundamentals 
Effectively managing and controlling expenses 
Reinforcing store strategy to reduce shrink 
Managing all activities related to providing a safe work environment

Expresses and decodes brand’s image/value & sense of purpose.
Understands & Integrates Market ‘specificities. 
Understands customer path & shopper experience’s rules. 
Leads design innovation and approaches all projects with a creative eye.
Works with Sketch up/ Adobe Creative Suite.


DESIGNED 360 CUSTOMER CENTRIC RETAIL CONCEPTS
Showcases and builds brand’s visual identity to build customer centric retail concepts. 
Creates and designs visual concepts to animate a consistent customer path, launches and catalogue. 
Defines & ensures high quality standards of animation items.
Provides a 360 approach to launches considering all customer touchpoints within the customer journey and pathway to purchase.


DELIVERED OPERATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION WITH EXCELLENCE 
Adapts the retail concept according to the distribution channel or customer profile. 
Ensures technical and legal compliance regarding the production. 
Cooperates with 360° internal & external stakeholders to guarantee consistent retail experience. 
Pilots & monitors animations to ensure these are in line with timelines and budget. 


ACTED AS A BUSINESS DRIVER
Lead and motivate a VM & Field team to deliver excellence.
Guaranties the ROI of POS in line with business objectives. 
Negotiates with retailers about staging and implementations. 
Monitors POS performance and drives it according to local strategy.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines and in a time pressured environment.
