What are key highlights of this role?
L’Oréal UKI is seeking dynamic, results driven NAE to continue to drive forward our Ocado business in this pivotal time This role sits within a multi function pureplayers team with additional resource for performance marketing, merchandising & activation to grow this strategic channel. With the join venture with M&S live from September this is an exciting opportunity to continue to take an already established Ocado business to the next level.
Voice of the customer
Having a deep understanding of the needs of this business and being the voice of Ocado internally to multi functional stake holders. And in return externally driving thought leadership on our Categories within Ocado and working to bring an intimate cross functional relationship.
Achieve core sales, brand and profit targets:
•Ownership for Sales, market share, P&L down to operating profit with a clear understanding of supply chain & marketing costs.
•Deliver financial and volume forecast accuracy on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
•Lead the Annual Business plan negotiation, then execute the plan & stay on track using quarterly review meetings.
•Using Revenue growth management to evaluate promotional ROI & ensure the most efficient use of promotional expenditure..
•Lead annual Cost price increase conversations & Develop and recommend account strategies and tactics to maximize the sales and gross profit for both parties.
•A strong appreciation that supply chain underpins the Ocado business model and work with the Supply chain team to maximise OLA.
•Plan & execute key NPD launches on time, with A* merchandising & healthy stock cover.
Selling & Selection
•Making sure that Loreal CPD has the right selection of brands, products & formats two grow the Ocado categories.
•Constantly reviewing the investment weight, availability and performance on HERO products to grow overall share.
•Selecting the right NPD with the customer fit of Ocado to win share.
•With the help of Cat Dev use Search, Olive and Ocado dashboards to identify the long term category opportunities.
•Owning trade day process from preparing to presenting, selling in key products and brand moments.
Traffic & Conversion Focus
•Maximising organic traffic opportunities through SEO, placements on sites, promotions, bundles etc.
•Continue to leverage L'Oréal media year round with making sure Ocado back it with the right levels of stock & availability.
Content & Customer experience
•Working with Online Brand mangers to constantly review & improve the on site merchandising on site to drive customer experience and conversion.
•Being the bridge between marketing & Supply chain at L'Oréal, and the Amazon team, to create fantastic activations for our brands that will help Ocado become known as a destination for Beauty and that will grow CPD market share.
What key skills are L’Oréal looking for?
•Proven E-com experience & results - preferably at least 18 months experience in working with Ocado or similar retailers.
•Proven experience of managing customer P&Ls and KPIs
•Good appreciation of digital marketing & supply chain in the beauty industry
