In the Professional Products Division, our mission is to support hairdressers and develop the hair industry sustainably, while benefiting all. We’re the founding Division for the L’Oréal group, having history more than 110 years ago.

The Professional Products Division is universally known for exclusively supplying salons and other professional customers with the most advanced technologies in hair and beauty products. The 8 brands within this division are L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Shu Uemura Art of Hair, Redken, Pureology, Matrix, Biolage and Pulp Riot. Our brands have made us the world leader in professional beauty products and one of the most dynamic places to pursue your career in the UK.

You will

Be a key member of the PPD UKI Leadership team responsible for driving the Division’s strategy and transformation agenda.  A self-starter who relishes working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable building professional relationships with key stakeholders. 

Project Management: responsible for managing projects and tracking progress by meeting with project stakeholders to supervise progress and key decisions. You will animate the relevant Project Committees and co-ordinate the relevant transformation steams and phasing in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland. You will be the first point of contact for all organisational/transformation related questions and will act as the PULSE and Simplicity Ambassador for PPD UKI.  As part of your role you will ensure best practice is shared.

Business & Market Insights: you will be responsible in tandem with the Managing Director and the Leadership team to design and deliver the Division’s Go-to-Market strategy. In co-operation with the Business Development and Digital & Innovation teams you will understand the cross-border business drivers and market insights from an internal and external perspective. You will be able to interpret in-salon experience and behaviour and turn this into tangible actions. You will also have an understanding of brands and client performance, opportunities, KPIs and support the MD to anchor their PPD frame around that.

Organisational Development: in co-operation with the Managing Director and HR Director you will create and establish a customer and consumer centric mindset within the organisation at all levels and functions and have a sound understanding of all functions and their contribution to the Division. You will be able to assess future structures and new ways of working in cross-functional Brands and Category teams to deliver our long-term strategy in a way that fits Consumers/ L’Oréal / Customer expectations and business requirements

Change & communication: you will be responsible for developing the change management plan internally and externally to drive ongoing transparency and understating of our change journey in co-operation with the Communications Director. Using new media tools and team buildings you will engage relevant stakeholders on the new organisational set-up in tandem with the Communications team.

You have:

Ability to strategise the transformation roadmap through performance analysis, ways of working and commercial principles, always linking back to the PPD UKI Frame.
A strong understanding of market dynamics and commercial, E-commerce and marketing strategies, associated with robust knowledge of the professional beauty market. You will also have knowledge of sales tools and data systems (CRM, digital…)
Excellent communication and influencing skills with experience of building relationships across an organisation. 
A solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity.
Experience of managing change - through rapid growth. 
A strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyse data, draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly.
