General Description

Trade marketing focus on developing and overseeing all aspects of an organization's marketing activities. General job responsibilities may involve representing an organization at relevant industry tradeshows, designing unique plans for individual products, and overseeing and analyzing new product launches & POSM installations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Brand Image:
  • Key Accounts: Manage and execute the branding and visibility budget of key accounts in line with their commercial contract and brand priorities.
  • To increase company sales by generating specific activities for retailers through leveraging global brand positioning and category penetration.
  • Develop and implement the Trade Marketing strategy to contribute towards brand growth targets and cross-category business objectives
  • Lead the translation and execution of the marketing strategy into impactful retailer programmes, respecting and tracking budget and commercial targets
  • Implement, monitor and improve processes to link all marketing activities with the activities of the commercial team
  • Build promotion plan by channel type
  • Execute, measure and evaluate promo effectiveness
  • Planogram compliance across customers and stores
  • Ensure the perfection of our brand image in key accounts.
  • Create and implement standardized branding and visibility elements in non-key accounts.
Customers Joint Business Planning  Communication:
  • Organize and implement  JBP with strategic customers to driver category growth over a 1-3 year horizon
  • Communicate new launches in trade selling story format highlighting size of prize
  • Implement and execute plans & monitor incremental uplift
Animations:
  • Work closely with the Brands and National Sales Manager to customize market promotions.
    • Animate Cycle meetings with the National Sales Manager, prepare Cycle folders and communicate to Sales teams.
    • Weekly follow up & recap on animation performance and rectifying where needed.
    • Implement launches effectively in key accounts to generate sell-out.
    • Manage the availability and budget of essential POSM for all brands.
