General Description

Responsible for the overall SKC P&L and implement the brand strategy; all Marketing responsibilities, Commercial (hand in hand with the commercial teams in countries), Training/Education/Medical strategies and working closely with stakeholders in Finance, Operations, Digital and Communication.

Duties & Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilties

Define and guide the countries’ brand strategy and priorities to contribute to continued growth of the brand.
  • Define the strategic directions, business model  guided by portfolio priorities
  • Steer the collection and analysis of consumer and market insights
  • Take ownership of international launches and create the right angle of attack locally to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences locally
  • Manage the budget (sales forecast; price strategy, profitability of the brand, P&L, etc.)
  • Lead the marketing mix strategies (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) and the adaptation of communication (imagery, digital, point of sales)
  • Build, develop and manage your team, train them and develop their expertise and know-how
  • Influence the B-to-B strategy (with Pharmacies and the Medical strategy)
To service, develop and manage a National account in line with the Brand / BU strategy.
  • Build a strong partnership and close contact with the top management of national/international accounts
  • Define joint strategy with account teams to align and sustainably grow the business
  • Manage accounts’ sales growth and profitability in coherence with Brand objectives
  • Drive year-end negotiation for trading terms
  • Create, implement and follow up an annual business plan taking into account all levers of growth: commercial agreements, marketing actions, education, merchandising and retail opportunities, profitability…
  • Develop alternative strategies to secure sales where required
  • Drive specific change projects in various areas such as supply chain, merchandising, data exchange
  • Communicate critical business information and share best practices to the appropriate parties
  • Recruit, develop and manage his/her teams. Ensure development of expertise and know-how and support organization changes

To define and implement distribution and sales strategy to build the brand and achieve the organization’s short and long-term turnover objectives.

  • Develop sales strategies and annual business sales plan aligned with the objectives decided by General Management
  • Develop strong relationships with the Senior Management of the trade
  • Set sales targets and assign resources
  • Design sales organization, manage and develop commitment and performance of sales teams
  • Integrate the sales strategies and activities with other Departments (esp. Marketing, Customer Service, Education, Merchandising)
  • Recruit, develop and manage teams. Ensure development of expertise and know-how and support organization changes
Knowledge & Experience

Education: Bachelor Degree

Relevant Experience
  • No of years’ experience: 7 years and plus
  • Essential experience :
    • Sales Management with big teams in multinational company
    • Business Development management
    • Experience in KSA
    • Experience with Distribution partners
    • Background in Beauty, cosmetics, retailing
Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of the market
