JOB CONTENT

The Department Manager, will drive the stategy behind increasing the company sales by generating specific activities for retailers through leveraging brand positioning, visibility and category penetration in the UAE market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collate field data to define and build the trade marketing strategy per retailer with the marketing and commercial  teams

- Lead the execution and adapt the strategic directions and the marketing plan, guide portfolio priorities (new launches, pillar products’ renewal and animation of core catalogue)

-Build planograms, assortment pyramid, promo activity and all sales drivers based on marketing strategy and sales and lead the execution at point of sale by the merchandising team

- Understand and analyse the market dynamics and carry out various market analysis studies, identify new opportunities of growth  and implement plans to ensure continued brand and market share growth

- Recruit, develop and manage the trade marketing and merchandising teams.  Ensure development of expertise and know-how in the Trade Marketing team

Education/ Qualification

Bachelor Degree

Trade Marketing & Category Management


Years of experience

At least 2-3 years in a commercial strategic role with people management experience
