JOB TITLE: Team Lead                                            REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor

The Team Lead is responsible for allocating resources, directing/redirecting workflow and assisting with day to day activities necessary to meet production goals.   


Include the following (but not limited to):

 Review, evaluate and monitor staff performance; and recommend appropriate staffing.

  • Conduct frequent safety inspections and quality assessments.
  • Determine work progress and reevaluate staffing needs accordingly.
  • Responsible for training new employees and coach existing employees
  • Provide key performance indicator goals and expectations.
  • Review the operation of the department to monitor safety, production, quality, and efficiency to anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide and preserve the security and accuracy of all inventory.
  • Initiate and complete projects that improve safety, efficiency, and/or reduce operating costs.
  • Uses problem solving techniques that result in improvements in performance and productivity
  • With assistance from the Supervisor, informs team of any policies or procedures changes
  • Motivates others when change occurs to obtain positive results

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Employee must possess skills in Microsoft Office and SAP.


Excellent communication skills in written and oral form are required.  Must have ability to read and interpret documents including company policies, handbook and store manual. Employee will need to have the ability to count and apply mathematical concepts (i.e. calculate figures an amounts when using percentages and fractions) quickly and accurately to practical situations including budget analysis.


Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.  Ability to work well with others. Ability to communicate effectively with SalonCentric and L’Oreal team members and management at all levels.  Skill and ability to meet deadlines under stressful conditions.  Ability to accept and provide suggestions & constructive feedback. Ability to problem solve, delegate, and follow up on tasks assigned to team members.

The employee is subject to normal warehouse atmospheric conditions including dust and temperature. Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures.
