The eCommerce Manager will be responsible for managing the eCommerce business (SEO, SEM, Affiliate programs) and Digital Content (Site content, UX) with a goal of maximizing incremental traffic & revenue while tracking to budget and expected ROI targets. Responsibilities include forecasting & planning, as well as executing campaigns and reporting performance to the division and larger organization. This requires a cross-functional player who will partner
closely with finance, customer service, technology, legal, website merchandising, and external agencies.

Specific responsibilities for the role include the following:

  • Support eCommerce sales and profit margin through marketing initiatives, strategic promotional offerings, retention & new customer acquisition
  • Responsible for all daily sales forecasting and communication of sales performance
  • Responsible for eCommerce P&L, including: ensuring business drivers stay within budget and promotional allowance goal is met
  • Manage and execute all website content, including: monthly HP refreshes, new product launches, launching new & updating existing landing pages with a focus on improving UX and elevating site experience
  • Manage the NGLORA site migration process including tracking to all deadlines & UAT
  • Provide detailed analytical reports to the team on sales driving website updates in order to evaluate content effectiveness, propose new website content tests, and refine audience segments
  • Manage and track all eCommerce sample plans, from forecasting to monthly usage, in partnership with Marketing team and MSL team
  • Manage inventory and out of stock plans, coordinating with Marketing team, and merchandising as needed for replacement content and inventory
  • Lead, develop, and manage all aspects of the affiliate channel & agency partnership, from monthly strategy to execution and present affiliate campaign recaps & results to key team members
  • Drive key SEO processes such as keyword research, competitive analysis, on-page optimization and staying on top of the latest SEO trends and news
  • Champion all SEO tools and lead the agency partnership, including monthly cross-divisional meetings
  • Be the Marketing team and PR team SEO ‘Subject Matter Expert’ with a focus on optimized product launches, press releases, and ongoing optimizations as needed
  • Strategize and support the SEM branded & non-branded and re-targeting strategy and budget planning in
  • partnership with divisional SEM lead
  • Strategize and support Media plans (Programmatic, Social, etc) by providing content and budget planning in partnership with media and social teams
  • Oversee customer service relationship to ensure representatives reflect Dermablend appropriately in all channels and that the site is optimized for customer needs
  • Support budget planning process and develop and refine the budget system processes within the brand and division
  • Responsible for planning and executing Dermablend digital roadmap in alignment with brand and digital priorities
  • Lead special projects as outlined by manager

Candidate Profile:
We seek a candidate with strong quantitative/analytical skills with experience managing complex and multiple projects at one time. S/he should be very familiar with direct marketing overall with experience in an eCommerce environment.

Specific skills that are needed for success in this role are:

  • Strong analytical and methodical problem-solving skills with proven ability to scrutinize large amounts of data and turn it into actionable initiatives (including both quantitative and qualitative data).
  • A deep understanding of retail-specific promotional activities, including experience in designing campaigns that drive incremental sales in holiday and non-holiday periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to and enjoys working across multiple business units and functional areas to achieve goals.
  • Self-motivation, a proactive approach and a results-driven mindset for both key metrics as well as
  • continuous improvement.
  • A high degree of care for the customer experience.
  • Strong creative skills – able to and enjoys working with the creative team to provide direction and judge effectiveness of creative assets and collaterals.

  • Excellent judgment and decision-making ability.


Additional Requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience in marketing communications or marketing management with an eCommerce background. Must have strong analytical skills, high-level proficiency with excel, and exhibit an overall sense of urgency with both brand and consumer focus through all activities. Experience with Google Analytics, Brightedge, JIRA, and Demandware is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field is required.
