Section 2:  Job Summary

Accountable for the growth of Redken Haircare and Styling & Men’s in the US. This position will dual-report into the brand leads for both categories and contribute to the strategic direction as well as responsible for creating, improving and maintaining the content and assets across the digital touch points of Redken haircare, styling and men’s.  This includes but is not limited to social and content marketing, PDP assets and updates, media campaigns etc.  All projects are to be in alignment with my marketing Pod Leads and in collaboration with my cross functional teams.


The Digital Manager will oversee the expression of Redken haircare, styling and men’s on Redken haircare and styling channels as well as partner channels. This person will drive the running of educational focused FB lives/IG lives, Salon takeovers, trade show social content capture and Studio 404 management. This role manages the Facebook and Pinterest channels for the brand and collaborate with the DMI and hair color social leads on local needs for Instagram, leading local agile content where necessary. The Digital Manager will produce the strategy for and brief creative media assets, including mid-campaign optimizations. This role will contribute to all major brand meetings as directed and partner with my cross departmental team members to help to create the culture and work environment of the pod.


Section 3:  Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a communications, online, or digital/marketing media role
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong understanding and interest in digital and communication industry
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Programs
  • Detail-oriented; ability to work on complex digital projects with multiple touch-points and integrations
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and results-driven thinker, who thrives in an environment where new ideas are championed

Section 4:  Judgment and Decision Making

The incumbent must exercise discretion and independent judgment on all tasks and must be able to work independently and make decisions when needed. Must be able to work autonomously and feel comfortable taking on large responsibilities. It is important he/she will use discretion on when to involve management in the day to day matters.  Moderate supervision or approval may be required for events and project work requiring analysis.  For management and organization of the floor and meetings, no supervision is required.

Stock product and supply closets, filing, minor lifting under 10 lbs


Section 6:  Financial Scope

This position does not directly manage a budget but should have capability to do so if required.  Interacts with Finance as needed to resolve discrepancies or gain approvals.  Will process purchase orders when necessary
