A Day in the Life

As a Global Marketing Manager for Matrix Haircolor, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of cutting-edge products while managing a portfolio of established favorites like SoColor, Supersync, and Tonal Control. Reporting to the AVP, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products to life and ensure they resonate with professionals and consumers alike.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Lead Product Innovation: Develop and launch new Matrix haircolor products while optimizing existing ranges to align with the brand’s global vision.
  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and gaps.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&I, CMI, sustainability, and finance teams to deliver winning formulas, sustainable packaging, and improved gross margins.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring on-time delivery of launch materials and seamless execution across channels (pro, consumer, e-commerce, back bar).
  • Campaign Integration: Work closely with Campaign and Content teams to infuse product knowledge into compelling marketing campaigns.

  • Experience: 3-5 years in marketing, preferably in the beauty industry or professional beauty segment. Haircolor expertise is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong project management, financial acumen, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with diverse, international teams.
  • Creativity: A sharp eye for aesthetics and a proven ability to create a cohesive brand presence across multiple channels.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
