This position is responsible for providing Master Data functional and technical leadership to the OMA organization.  This position will be responsible for managing the overall coherence, pertinence, access, use and health of the Master Data and information contained in WISE for the entirety of the factory. This encompasses training, tools, coaching, KPIs and process initiatives to enable others in the factory to exploit ISIS to its fullest.


The overall objective of the position is to provide master data implementation, improvement and support to meet the business and information technology requirements of the OMA organization.

The scope of the position includes:

Acquisition Onboarding/Change Management

  • Complete all business scenario reviews
  • Identify gaps at local sites
  • Recommend action plans to address gaps
  • Execute simulation tests
  • Train local end users
  • Support/execute go live activities
  • Support Data Management/Collection/Migration
  • Support ends users after go live
  • Develop and Maintain Work Instructions
  • Contribute to Steering Meetings in order to promote enhancements

OMA Business Owner/Expert

  • Support OMA teams with resolving technical issues
  • Interface with IT/DGO/DSIO on testing/integrating new developments
  • Manage change request submission/testing/integration
  • Manage the steering process for trouble shooting and new deployments
  • Manage Amadeus Training/Monitoring/Reporting
  • Facilitate New Testing as required

Master Data Creation

  • Create and maintain the Master Data Dictionary that defines all of the fields in WISE
  • Define and maintain the tools used by the factory to monitor the code creation progress for all article types
  • Coach and train all users on the fields/objects under their responsibility and how their actions may affect other users
  • Provide tools, feedback and KPIs to allow users to track the advancement of their code creation and master data initialization

Master Data Maintenance

  • Define and maintain the tools used by the factory to monitor data/object inconsistencies
  • Define and maintain the tools used by the factory to identify clearly erroneous data
  • Define the KPIs and goals for all data inconsistencies
  • Communicate to Plant Management the performance impacts of data inconsistencies
  • Adapt KPIs, training programs and coaching to the evolving maturity of ISIS exploitation and personnel changes

Data Access and Reporting

  • Define and catalogue all data and reporting needs for the factory
  • Act as local factory expert in available data cubes and extractions from WISE
  • Define, create, test and make available data queries to factory users
  • Train, coach and assist users in executing queries and in building their own reporting structure
  • Represent the factory in the evolution of reporting and data access cubes from Core teams

Performance Management

  • Participate in a network of North American WISE Performance Managers in exchanging performance and Data management programs, tools and techniques
  • Collaborate with all factory departments to identify process improvement opportunities possible with ISIS
  • Define and coordinate programs to better use ISIS and improve plant performance


  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3 years experience in Production planning, Supply Chain Supply Planning and Inventory Management processes in a consumer goods industry or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of PP and APO modules, including Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling, Supply Network Planning, Live Cache, and BW
  • Good understanding of manufacturing business processes and concepts
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to achieve consensus
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detailed, fact-based approach to problem solving and implementing solutions leading to process improvement
  • Strong project management skills
  • Independent problem-solving and thorough analytical skills; self-motivated, self-directed and flexible individual Able to grasp the operations of the other departments in a factory (Logistics, Industrial Quality, Purchasing, Finance, HR ….) with ideally experience in at least two departments of a factory, one of which must be either Finance or Logistics
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent tasks
  • *Ability to travel 35% of the time
