This role will be hyper focused on three main areas: driving new customer acquisition (lead gen), supporting D2C sales through traditional affiliated outlets, and driving brand awareness and consideration leveraging mid to upper funnel media partners. This role will oversee budget, strategy, and reporting across affiliate, social, programmatic, TV (linear and OTT) and search. The candidate will act as the hub between the eCommerce, CRM, social media, and marketing teams and will report directly into the division’s media lead, with a dotted line into the brand’s head of marketing.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the planning, implementation (trafficking), execution and reporting of media campaigns across channel (e.g. TV, programmatic, social, search, affiliate, etc.).
  • Hands on keyboard across channel to help build and optimize campaigns across digital campaigns
  • Routinely conduct performance audits of paid media campaigns to help inform campaign optimizations and budgeting insights
  • Manage budgets across brands and work closely with finance teams to handle reporting
  • Own full funnel reporting across channel to be delivered to marketing teams on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with data and CRM partners to leverage 1P data for more efficient consumer targeting
  • Form strategic partnerships with publishers and other media partners to target new consumers
  • Grow SOV on affiliate platforms strategically in alignment with key brand moments
  • Identify new consumer acquisition opportunities through strategic partnerships
  • Leverage search marketing platforms to research trends and new opportunity areas
  • Work with company’s media agency of record (AOR) to ensure close collaboration on all relevant partnerships

 

Skills:

  • Analytical: The candidate must have advanced analytical skills for deep analysis of search trends, campaign performance, KPI optimization opportunities
  • Strong communicator: Must be able to present complex material to a diverse group of marketers and stakeholders in both written and verbal form. Ability to interact and present to all levels of the organization, including top management.
  • Collaborative: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cross-functionally between Ecommerce, marketing, CRM, and data activation to help ensure maximum performance campaigns
  • Tools:
    • Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) 
    • Proficient in search marketing tools (e.g. BrightEdge, SEO Rush, Adthena, etc.)
    • Proficient in search ads managers (e.g. Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Pinterest, etc.)
    • Proficient in social media business managers (e.g. Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, etc.)
    • Proficient in Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

 

Ideal Certifications and Qualifications:

  • Google Adwords certification
  • DV360 certification
  • Facebook Blueprint certification
  • Experience in SEO strategy and methodology
  • Proven track record driving paid media strategies and maximizing campaign optimizations
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • A facilitator and collaborator; able to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Brand, retailer, or digital agency experience a plus
  • Beauty industry experience a plus
