POSITION: Manager, Sales & Marketing Development

LOCATION: St. Petersburg, Florida (SalonCentric National Operations Center) 

SUMMARY: 

This individual will be responsible for assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing Development with the day-to-day relationship with PPD Brands (L'Oréal Professional Products Division) and the set-up, execution and post-mortem of the PPD monthly promotions for SalonCentric Street, Store, Ecommerce and Sub Distribution channels. This role will manage the end-to-end offer feasibility and execution to ensure promotional offers are set up correctly, accurately depicted in all materials and to provide an ideal customer experience in an omni-channel environment

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Effective team member, with proven ability to deliver results when working with cross functional teams
  • Must have high degree of initiative, personal responsibility and ownership
  • Must work independently and have decision-making follow through
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task, problem solve and negotiate effectively in order to navigate successfully between PPD teams and SC teams
  • Must be highly organized and have a keen attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, across multiple planning cycles/brands
  • Experience to anticipate SC promotional needs based on business performance
  • Demonstrated ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to business needs
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, Database and inventory control software
  • 2 years related work experience required, experience in the Professional Beauty Industry desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Evaluate new monthly promotions and collaborate with Sales and Development team and brands to ensure best practices to support launch strategy and promo efficacy
  • Work closely with the PPD brands, Sales and Marketing Development, and SalonCentric Marketing and Sales Administrative teams on all promotional recommendations and set up
  • Works closely with cross-functional departments, including but not limited to: pricing, infocell, customer service, marketing, digital marketing, sales, finance, etc., to ensure promotional set up accuracy, advertising and continuity
  • Facilitate the implementation and alignment among PPD partners (Brand, Demand Planning, etc.) for drop-in promotions needed to help drive the business
  • Implement and track business / brand promotional strategies for new product introductions, promotions, communication and inventory management across all channels
  • Organize all PPD promotions in a promotional grid by quarter/month, brand, and channel (the Quarterly Brand Snapshot) and review on a monthly basis with key management including Sales, Stores, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Sales Admin
  • Manage offer execution to ensure accurate offer set up and to provide ideal customer serviceTrack and communicates to the field all promotional and collateral changes in timing/SKU information
