To define the local brand strategy in the local market in line with the international brand positioning; contribute to growth by driving new product launches and pillar products.
l Oversee and guide brand development, manage portfolio priorities
l Listen to and develop a deep understanding of local consumers and generate new insights
l Monitor local trends and feed back findings to Zones / DMIs to ensure the perennity of new product development
l Take ownership of international launches and create the right angle of attack for success in the local market. Ownership and
responsibility for supervising the entire process
l Manage the budget and the financial implications of forecasts
l Lead local adaptation of advertising materials; influence media and promotion recommendations
l Mobilise other departments to support marketing strategies (esp. sales & consumer advisory service)
l Recruit, develop and manage team. Ensure development of expertise and know-how in marketing team
