Applicants are invited for the above-indicated vacancy that exists in the Active Cosmetics Division. The incumbent will report into the Medical Relations Manager

Objectives: Effective services rendered to L’Oréal ACD and its customers, through the operational management of L’Oréal ACD customers in his/her specific area.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and future customers

? Calling on prescribed customers to achieve call rate in the in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organisation’s products.

? Prepare daily routs, visits and business outcomes for each new week

? Prepare and present weekly sales plans

? Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints

? Coordinates sales effort with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain

? Analyses customer data to determine potential opportunity for both customer and the organization

? Assess and manage returns as per standard policy

? Adherence to Planograms, Merchandising guidelines and Category plans

? Follow up on all new practice openings and promotions

? Detail and train latest animations/ focusses to both doctors and therapists

? Plan and assist in in-house Sell-Out events


Relevant qualification or degree/equivalent

At least 2 years of Medical Sales experience

Knowledge of the Cosmeceutical/Pharmaceutical regulatory environment (advantage)

A driver’s license

Track record of success in sales

Matric or relevant qualification or degree

At least 2 years of sales experience (FMCG)

Knowledge of the Cosmetic/Pharmaceutical regulatory environment (advantage)

Knowledge of sales concepts in FMCG and their application

A driver’s license and a car

Track record of success of success in sales

Willingness to travel
