Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technicians, continually encouraging 100% employee engagement
  • Participates in the recruitment and training of employees in cooperation with Human Resources
  • Prepare and manage quality agreements between L’Oreal and contract manufacturers
  • Prepare and manage technical dossier for contract manufacturers production
  • Lead quality risk assessment  & on-boarding process at new subcontractors
  • Train subcontractors to ensure understating of quality requirement
  • Participate in subcontractor’s certification program (test delegation, control and process validation)
  • Develop training and train quality personnel on the use of new test methods
  • Release FGs, PCs, bulk, WIPs in WISE
  • Initiate and follow up the corrective action process for finished goods, and packaging components
  • Manage reworks (at the DC or 3rd party) - rework instructions Traceability list, re-control, release
  • Review customer complaints and led investigation with cooperation with CM
  • Secure all formula information per L’Oréal’s procedures
  • Devise and establish a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Support audit program at subcontractors
  • Lead the approach of continuous improvement of quality: monitoring performance, analyze quality reports, monitor the change management

 Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Chemistry or Science


  • 5+ Years experience in Quality, preferably within cosmetics and consumer goods industry
  • Knowledge of ISO Standards 9001 and GMP Standards (ISO 22716)
  • Knowledge of OTC Requirements
  • SAP Experience
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and desire to follow procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to interpret data and statistics
  • Leadership and management skills


  • This position requires 10-20% travel
