We want to empower women and men by offering an experience of simplicity, quality and honesty with our service as well as our make-up, skincare and award winning fragrance This year also sees Valentino Beauty launch its first makeup collection, to sit alongside the already established fragrance lines and new icon Voce Viva that was launched in 2020. The collection will combine the foundations of a luxurious and iconic brand built on superior product quality and customer experience, with the colourful & cool sense of creativity, individuality and freedom to explore and express oneself that Valentino embodies.
You will be part of an expert team driving brand awareness, sales and education for these Luxury Italian brand.
Design and deliver Education content for Giorgio Armani and Valentino Beauty. You have worked as a National Trainer or above and will be experienced in designing and delivering education content.
You will be trend led and understand the clear difference between both brands trend priorities and services you will be able to determine new trends in Education to ensure your training and tools are modern and interactive developing both Face to Face and Virtual formats. Your role will report into the National Retail and Education Manager Giorgio Armani & Valentino Beauty. Whilst you will work primarily on Beauty, you will also be able to flex your style to support the Fragrance division with key Fragrance conferences and non Branded staff. You will have one direct report who is a Retail and education executive and a dotted line report for admin support
Develop makeup artistry training modules/materials/point of sale (POS) tools etc. to reach retail/service objectives and deliver bi-annual national Showcases to our BAs
Work in partnership with the Area Managers as well as Marketing, Merchandising, PR and DMI
Ensure all training material is delivered on time and within budget
Regular stores visits to ensure the training message is implemented consistently across different regions and to ensure your education and coaching method is relevant to the business needs in line with Mystery shop and NPS targets
Recommend and develop innovative, effective methods of educating and driving exceptional retail and service
Train and upskill Area Managers on new skills, trend and education modules to develop their coaching skills at point of sale
Evaluate the impact of Education on sales/service and feedback to National Retail Manager and wider GAB and Valentino teams
Control and manage the budget for all Education tools including grooming and hygiene
Head the national and senior make up artistry for both brands
Ensure both brand images are up held in Training and on store visits
Lead on One Retail for the brands
Feedback on NPS to Marketing teams in 360 meetings

You are able to work independently and as part of a team and to work under tight deadlines. You have worked as a National Trainer or above and will be experienced in designing and delivering education content.
You will be flexible in travelling throughout the country, including some nights away from home. You will be field based with the requirement to work in Head Office (Hammersmith) on a weekly basis as needed.
It is essential that you can demonstrate advanced competency in Word / Excel / Powerpoint (Microsoft Office) Adobe creative cloud and social media / digital experience
Organisational and prioritisation skills and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Makeup artistry skills and the ability to inspire and develop our Artists
Experience in planning and implementing beauty in-store events and activity
Strong presentation/communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire
Strong sensitivity to the beauty industry, product appreciation and an eye for aesthetics
