L'Oréal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic B2C product delivery team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of L'Oréal's e-commerce landscape by driving the evolution of our proprietary framework, built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This platform powers over 60 D2C websites across the US, Canada, and LATAM, making this a high-impact role with significant visibility. The ideal candidate will be a strong analytical thinker with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of e-commerce technology, and a proven track record of delivering successful products in an agile environment.

What you will do: 

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Design and document the functional architecture of e-commerce solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Provide guidance to the development team, ensuring solutions are implemented according to best practices and meet business requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, CDMO Product Owners, and external vendors to ensure alignment and drive consensus.
  • Participate in and contribute to agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
  • Research and evaluate potential solutions to business problems, recommending the most appropriate approach based on cost, feasibility, and business value.
  • Support testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure the delivered solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.

 

What we are looking for:  

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on business analysis, functional design, or technical product ownership.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is desirable.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with international teams is a plus.
