Suitable applications are invited for the above-indicated vacancy that exists in Active Cosmetics Division (ACD). The successful candidate will report to the General Manager

OBJECTIVE: Drive sustainable, profitable growth of SkinCeutical Brand through category and brand strategies, brand stewardship and commercial acumen.


  • compiles Advertising budget and monitors Spend initiatives, managing and taking responsibility in line with company policy
  • Monitors Product Margins / Pricing / Sales & Sales Performance
  • Reviews Sales budget – Actual Sales vs Budget
Responsible for setting of Sales Budget (Sales / Forecasting / Pricing)


  • All queries are followed up and resolved in the shortest possible timeframe within policy framework
  • A professional attitude is displayed when responding to a customer’s needs
  • Methods for improving customer services are proposed, developed and continuously updated
  • Internal and external customers are constantly updated as to the progress of their queries
  • Customers: External Customers / Consumer / Sales Team


  • Determine the future investment a strategic intent of the L’Oréal ACD presence in the Aesthetic market
  • Drive L’Oréal ACD category presence in the Aesthetic sector across all channels as per the Channel Strategy
  • Drives implementation of category and brand strategies, tactics, initiatives
  • Responsible for aligning priorities between the trade marketing, sales, training and implementation
  • Develop and implements consumer and customer insight development
  • Drives project management excellence, new idea generation milestones, forecast and brand management
  • Implements annual category budget, brand P&L
  • Manages stock, forecast, brand ROI, new product launch feedback process
  • Responsible reporting and tracking Brand A&P


  • Sound numerical skills essential
  • Good negotiator with sound communication skills (written & verbal), coupled with ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans
  • Ability to write reports and present trade information
  • Good administration skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to be assertive but reasonable and respectful
  • Able to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
  • Team oriented individual - achieve objectives & sales goals
  • Reliable, energetic, proactive, punctual & able to work independently & under pressure
  • Must have own transportation with valid drivers’ licence and travel away from home for extended periods
  • Ability to manage clients and take ownership of business

Education & Experience

  • Track record in achieving market and financial targets

  • Post-matric qualification a must, post-graduate degree advantageous


  • Aesthetic market experience is a must Aesthethic/Pharmaceutical experience is an advantage
