Regional Manufacturing Supply Chain – Procurement (APAC)

The person will be responsible to support the animation of manufacturing supply and procurement activities at the regional level, ensuring the optimal RPM inventory level across the APAC plants with the alignment of the Management. The role will also lead the crisis management within APAC, to manage the critical RMs and its securitization, as well as providing information for MSL to manage business arbitration during RPM shortage.

This role reports to Regional MSC (APAC) Manager.

 

Key Job Accountabilities

·       Optimize the Raw/Packaging material inventory value and cover strategy by defining the right target and level of safety stock to secure business turnover

o   Ensure the consistent implementation of the components supply planning methodology and parameters, as well as the stock policy

o   Lead the annual Total Cost Ownership negotiation with Sourcing team to define the right level of MOQ

o   Assist the plants’ on the key SLOB items to define the immediate action plan with MSL and midterm action plan to review the purchasing strategy with sourcing team, i.e. MOQ, or leadtime optimization

o   Ensure the apprehension of Supply Chain General Terms within the procurement community, and ensure the complete update of Supply Chain Parameters in SAP

·       Lead the crisis management within APAC with close monitoring on critical RMs and close collaborations with related stakeholders (MSL and Plants, Sourcing Team, R&I, Product Development, Global Crisis Team)

o   Analyze the strategic products’ business turnover and work with STRONG team on the RMs risk assessment to secure the RMs via backup sites, alternative source, and/or buffer stock

o   Ensure the smooth execution of NOVEAL (CHIMEX) platform’s RMs in terms of transportation, inventory adjustment in the plants, and procurement switch

o   Coordinate with PD and MSL on the new launch and cruising items’ growth evolution and assumption, and work with Rise Up team to ensure that the RM quantity is integrated into the annual quantity, as well as reviewed during the supplier’s capacity review

 

Requirements

·       Min 3 years working experience in Supply Chain, preferably in Supply Planning or Category Planning

·       Fluent in English and Chinese, both in writing and speaking

·       Competent in MS Excel, and basic knowledge on SAP. Knowledge on PowerBI with practical skill is a plus

·       Strong analytical skills to synthesize the information, and proactively finding solutions

·       Strong communication skills with good understanding on plant and business
