Overview of the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and driving a transformational phase of our Ecommerce business in the newly formed South Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa (SAPMENA) region. He/she will lead the design and value realization of new regional initiatives across multiple markets to deliver incremental growth opportunities for the region.

The ideal candidate will have a regional business mindset with skill domains spread across Commercial/Marketing/Technology and/or Supply Chain. Breadth of knowledge is desired as the initiatives will span multiple expertise domains. The candidate must have led a significant program within an organization through digital or technology transformation that has delivered significant change in business results. 

The regional role requires strong collaboration skillsets in a highly matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders, business partners and external partners.  He/she should also be able to handle senior stakeholder engagement comfortably.  The position will report to the Director, SAPMENA E-Commerce Center of Excellence and will be based in Singapore.  

You will ...

  • Identify business opportunities and value creation ideas in line with L’Oréal’s E-commerce strategy
  • Ideate and plan value realizing initiatives as pilots or broad implementations across multiple markets and brands
  • Manage multiple end-to-end initiatives to drive breakthrough business results for the group
  • Structure and manage PMOs working on the delivery of the various programs
  • Lead and manage communication and updates of the various initiatives – Steering Committee Setup, Newsletters to drive socialization of the outcomes
  • Responsible for commercial planning, manages partnerships JBP with indirect marketplaces
  • Proactively manage business expectations and monitor customer satisfaction levels through relevant service metrics and measures
  • Act as a business partner in a complex and matrix environment: actively listen to internal/external customers, articulate and clarify /translate customer needs into initiative roadmap

You have ...

  • Business leader with 10 to 15 years regional experience, who has led a significant program within an organization through Business, Digital or IT transformation and has delivered real change in relation to the employee community
  • Highly mature personality to be able to work across multiple markets in a complex organizational setup.
  • Ability to balance the role of strategist with urgency to deliver results
  • Capability to contribute strategically as well as tactically and operationally
  • Capacity to lead a distributed team and to coordinate with other Corporate functions
