The role of media platform engineer, Omni-Channel media will assist in building, launching and managing the in-house programmatic platform for digital and performance media across all digital touchpoints/platforms within the programmatic ecosystem: SSPs, DSPs, Ad Exchanges, Ad Networks and Trading Desks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
? Assist to build and deploy programmatic media platform to support whole company’s media related business across all digital channels and devices (display, social, video, native etc.) from technical side.
? Govern multi-agencies from technical side for different modules of platform, including the infrastructure layer, back-end data center and front-end applications by setting up technical standards & SOPs and applying tools.
? Pay great attention to details on the solutions/products provided by different agencies for different modules of platform, deep dive those systems and accumulate 1st hand knowhow on data structure, data flow, processing mechanism etc.
? Responsible for maintenance and guarantee high performance of the platform.
? Responsible for setting up the environment and workbench for AI applications.
? Assistant from technical side on building a road-map for what is required to grow usage of media platform and craft the next stage of media tech and digital IT moving forward.
? Smoothly communicate and cooperate with different parties both internal and external side, both technical or business side.
? Worked out platform training programs and provided effective trainings to different parties.
? Excellent programming skills in at least one of Java/Scala/Python.
? Solid knowledge and experience at big data technology of both public cloud platform(at least one of azure/aws/alicloud) and in-house private deployment(e.g. CDH/greenplum).
? Strong technical skills in designing and implementing high-quality distributed systems, excellent knowledge about distributed system scheduler.
? Strong analytical ability on designing complicated architecture, de-coupling modules and re-architecting based on the deep understanding on requirements, sensitive on transferring business requirements to technical requirements is a plus.
? Embrace learning new skills and are adept at staying ahead of the curve on relevant industry, company, product or technical knowledge.
? Willing and good at communication with different people.
? Understanding of the larger landscape of marketing technology and its subset of advertising technology is a plus.
? Experience on AI related projects or solutions is a plus.
? 5+ year’s in working with big data solution design and development.
? 2+ years working experience with key open source big data project as a contributor is a plus.
? Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
