As part of the R&I 360 deployment, the Clinical Innovation Team is responsible for driving clinical discovery and innovations, in order to deliver new technologies and actives with strong efficacy. This team collaborates with various departments in L’Oreal Research & Innovation, both domestically and internationally. The team scouts for new technologies in modern cosmetic and health science fields, performs proof of concept testing for active cosmetic ingredients and devices, and works closely with key research partners to transform upstream technologies into new consumer products.


We are looking for a motivated Clinical Research Scientist to onboard on this thrilling adventure with our team in Clark, New Jersey



You Will . . .

  • Assist clinical team members in various aspects of clinical study, including e-monitoring of eCRF system, compiling study results and images, and QA/QC of study reports.
  • Maintain and track all clinical team instruments and laptops. Ordering, shipping and labelling of study products to meet study timeline.    
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners (CROs, global Advanced Research, Data Management Team, and Statistical Team), to ensure clinical study integrity.
  • Serve as key Quality person in the team, to ensure compliance with global Quality guidelines and GDPR regulation.


You Have . . .

  • A Bachelor degree in a related field with 3-5 years of relevant working experience is required
  • 3-5 years of experience managing and monitoring Human Clinical Trials in pharmaceutical, OTC, or personal care industries is required
  • Good knowledge of Skin biology, and Dermatology.
  • Experience working with CROs;
  • Solid understanding of good clinical practices and FDA guidelines;
  • Working knowledge on methods of evaluation (instrumental and clinical) or diagnostic tools for evaluating product efficacy.
  • Good knowledge of cosmetic actives and functions is a plus

You Are . . .

  • An excellent communicator (verbal, written) with interpersonal skills
  • Experienced with clinical study design and electronic data management system
  • Someone with an up to date GCP training certificate
  • Authorized to work in the US on a permanent, ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
