Director of Integrated Health

Responsible for identifying and driving business for ACD brands and partnering with Marketing and Retail Sales to pull through/execute opportunities to:

  • Increase Pharmacist Recommendation Share- drive awareness on therapeutic benefits of ACD brands through by accessing, educating, and supporting the US pharmacist community
  • Maximize Retailer Pharmacy Opportunities – connecting pharmacy with front store OTC including program driven by retailers (i.e. Wellness Days) as well as driving new cross collaborations to unlock the potential for the Pharmacy hierarchy to embrace education and recommendation of OTC in adjunct to prescriptions.  Drive opportunity with:
    • National retail pharmacies
    • Regional Pharmacies
    • Independent community pharmacies (by working with Wholesaler)
    • Specialty (digital) pharmacy
  • Develop trade concepts – provide insight to Manager of Integrated Health to develop print and digital trade concepts that will activate pharmacists
  • Partner with Retailer Medical Clinics – Recommendations on collaboration with medical side of retailers
  • Senior level customer relationships- Develop and manage supportive and productive relationships with key clinical stakeholders at retailers (i.e. VP of Pharmacy)
  • Develop relationships with Pharmacist Groups and Residency Programs- identify opportunities to partner with pharmacist organizations, pharmacy schools, and residency programs
  • Identify Opportunities for Continuing Education- identify widely utilized platforms for pharmacist CE credits and work with them on therapeutic skincare content
  • Telemedicine – stay abreast of developments at the convergence of telemedicine and retailers and develop solutions/tools to support adjunctive therapy recommendations in the digital space
  • Hospital- collaborate with Senior Institutional Sales Managers to support their efforts to pull through GPO contracts at hospital pharmacies

 

Core Skill Sets/Expertise:

  • PharmD
  • At least 3 years of retail pharmacy experience
  • Knowledgeable about OTC products and clinical science
  • Knowledgeable about retail pharmacy technology/tools to support providing comprehensive patient care
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Can develop and position sales strategies and tactics within this space making key high level relationships within retailers to identify financial growth opportunities and develop sound business and targeting plans 
  • Ability to develop business case including market/financial opportunity, business case.
  • Ability to work with many internal stakeholders across various departments including sales and marketing to execute programs
  • Outside the box thinking to find innovative ideas to drive success
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for selling internally and externally
  • Can communicate very complex concepts clearly
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Willing to travel 30% of the time 

 

Health Care Industry:

  • Comprehensive understanding of recent changes to the U.S. healthcare system and current dynamics driving how, why, and where care is provided 
  • The latest on retail pharmacies and healthcare mergers and how they are evolving their business model to become a stronger player in healthcare
  • The concept of shared risk payments / bundled payments
  • The role of patient engagement in optimizing outcomes
