Job Description:

 

We are looking for a strategic, creative and consumer centric PR/social expert to help oversee the full Ralph Lauren Fragrances communications eco-system supporting the AVP of Global Integrated Communications.

 

This person will be responsible for creating and overseeing the implementation of integrated communications strategies for Ralph Lauren Fragrances’ (RLF) product launches in more than 55 international market, helping to drive our overall mission of elevating and modernizing the RLF brand image through talent and A&I strategies, events and brand experiences, and innovative social/digital content.

 

  • Partner with cross functional DMI on overall launch and campaign strategy, including talent and corresponding negotiations, campaign music negotiations, shoots, events, advocacy/partnerships and finding synergies with Ralph Lauren Corporate
  • Co-manage celebrity talent in partnership with AVP
  • Develop creative and business-driving A&I strategies
  • Oversee event strategy to create unique experiences that build brand love and fuel advocacy, in alignment with RLF brand image
  • Set PR and earned social guidelines & parameters for the markets, and offer individual, tailored recommendations to global partners
  • Bring innovative, out of the box ideas to the team that will allow us to test and learn in new areas (ie gaming, partnerships, limited editions)
  • Manage social shoots, including concepting and casting
  • Manage RLF social agency and oversee the brand’s owned social accounts
  • Partner with AVP on brand cause strategy and execution
  • Work with and manage approvals and relationships with Ralph Lauren Corporate

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience in PR/Communications, Social, Influencer and/or Marketing in agency or in-house, with an emphasis on beauty and lifestyle (international experience is strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong understanding and passion for luxury beauty and fashion
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Well-versed in the influencer space, including familiar with key talent and content trends
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with all major social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram/Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, SnapChat and emerging platforms   
  • Experience managing celebrity talent and contracts
  • Extensive shoot/set experience
  • Experience managing complex crisis communications/brand reputation
  • Strong understanding in budget management
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task  
  • Experience with negotiation and managing vendors, agencies and partners
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel + data analysis platforms like Google Analytics.  
  • Experience using MyMarket, Salesforce, Traackr, FB Business Manager, and Sprinklr
  • Ability to travel when needed

Salary Range: $Minimum-$Midpoint (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
