What You Will Do:

Responsible for growth and development of assigned brands through the proposal and implementation of brand strategy and promotional calendar. Serves as the lead throughout the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies.  Interact effectively with departments such as: sales operations, finance, education, digital, D2C, creative, national accounts, global marketing team and senior management team.  Monitor and analyze business results in order to recommend opportunities for improving plans and their execution.  

 

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Innovation
  • Support leading innovation to market strategy leveraging marketing insights on pricing, mix and competitive trends
  • Ensure launches align with brand strategies & partner DMI teams on seamless execution for the US market
  • Propose need gaps based on analysis of competitive landscape and trends that align with the brand identity
  • Partner with DP and S&OP on sizing the launch for the US market
  • Partner with channel teams to execute launches in the US market 
  • Pricing
  • Develop brand pricing strategy through competitive analyses and price elasticity studies to determine portfolio pricing 
  • Develop pricing strategy for all new launches and range extensions 
  • Finance and Budget 
  • Help to build and manage total Marketing Budget in partnership with cross functional teams, managing budget allocations between spending buckets
  • Understand and help manage financial implication of forecast (i.e.), trends, full year number
  • Insights and Analysis
  • Evaluate product performance across all franchises 
  • Competitive analysis and identify white space opportunities
  • Partner with CMI to deliver market, salon, and consumer research and analysis to inform brand strategy and influence DMI 

 

What We Are Looking For:

 

 

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field.  
  • MBA preferred.  
  • 5-7 years brand management experience, preferably with beauty industry-related experience. 
  • Superb analytical skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills and forecasting experience.  
  • Strong execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skills.        
  • Computer literacy on Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.  
  • French language skills a plus.
