Job Summary: The individual will support the eCommerce Acceleration team on the management and scaling of a product information management (PIM) and digital asset management (DAM) platform (Opera) and own the US roadmap to drive discoverability of our products on Amazon, eRetail, and Google Search. The PIM/DAM has become a top priority for the LUSA business as a platform to not only provide efficiency in product content and asset development, but drive faster speed to market of our products through syndication and discoverability across retailer channels. In this highly visible role, this person will report into the VP of eCommerce Acceleration for overarching strategy and vision of the platform, and work alongside eCommerce business owners, Brand Asset Managers, DMI, Digital IT, external, and CDO partners to drive platform needs and change management across the L’Oreal USA organization. This role requires strong communication skills, ability to present to audiences ranging from IT to C-Suite, comfortable analyzing data, and ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize what is needed for the growth of the platform and business need. A successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, ability to manage stake holder complexity across various teams, strong project management skills and ability and willingness to take on new projects beyond Opera to support L’USA’s ecommerce acceleration objectives.


  • Drive innovation for the US eCommerce business through digital content acceleration and change management
  • Lead the US PIM/DAM product roadmap, adoption metrics, and communication of new features to US brands and senior leadership
  • Empower brands and DMI teams to adopt product information and asset standards
  • Lead monthly status meetings with US and global digital leadership, escalating program needs and progress
  • Drive strategic syndication capabilities with priority retailers such as Amazon, Target, Walmart, Ulta, and Sephora
  • Partner with Digital IT and global teams to execute 3rd party PIM integrations and analytics capabilities
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders, providing transparency of program goals and needs
  • Maintain US relationship with PIM provider, providing business cases for new features/enhancements
  • Deliver monthly adoption reports distributed across the L’Oreal USA brands and C-Suite
  • Create highly visible presentations capturing business value and platform case studies 
  • Take on additional high visibility projects as Opera becomes more integrated in to the L’Oreal strategic asset management roadmap
  • Support the ecommerce team in strategic projects such as executive presentations, event recaps and blue sky opportunities

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or another related field required and interest in the beauty industry
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or eCommerce roles
  • Knowledge and experience with digital asset management platforms (ie OpenText) and ecommerce syndication platforms (ie Salsify, Riversand)
  • Prior experience developing internal products used by marketing stakeholders preferred (particularly PIM / DAM and digital business intelligence products)
  • Ability to interface with all levels of a complex, matrix organization across technical and non-technical functions
  • Ability to manage up to escalate program needs, risks, and requirements to drive program success
  • Ability to clearly communicate eCommerce concepts to an audience with a wide variation in eCommerce experience   
  • Proactive problem solving and ability to drive and adapt quickly to chang
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication/presentation skills  
  • Thorough understanding of how to navigate complex digital tech stacks 
  • Strong analytical skills   
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills  
  • Ability to work independently within a rigorous deadline schedule  
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
