Role Overview:

This Senior Finance Manager position will play a critical role in the financial management of advertising and promotion (A&P) spend for Luxe Owned Media, specifically supporting Urban Decay, Youth to the People, and IT Cosmetics on the West Coast. This role demands a strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional partnership skills to navigate the complexities of these dynamic brands.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee and manage the Owned Media accounts (excluding samples) for all Luxe brands. Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and corporate financial objectives. Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to optimize ROI and cost efficiency.

 

  • Brand Partnership: Serve as a key financial partner to the General Manager and Head of Marketing for the supported brands. Provide financial guidance and support for strategic decision-making, marketing initiatives, and new product launches. Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with brand leadership to achieve business goals.

 

  • West Coast Brand Support: Act as the primary A&P finance contact for West Coast operations for the designated brands. Provide comprehensive financial support and analysis to local teams, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and financial objectives.

 

  • Luxe A&P Central Team Collaboration: Partner closely with the Luxe A&P centralized team to ensure seamless integration and consistent financial management across all brands. Collaborate on budget allocation, performance tracking, and reporting. Share best practices and contribute to the development of overall A&P strategies.

 

  • Brand Controller Partnership: Collaborate with the Brand Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and efficient financial processes. Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of A&P financial management principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Experience with SAP and other financial systems is a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Owned Media and digital marketing finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
