 Position Summary:

Responsible for key facets of the PPD HQ Commercial Finance team including but not limited to reporting, tracking and consolidation of sales for the division ($1.7 Billion), as well as, managing customer P&Ls.  The position has a high-level exposure to the Division President and CFO.  There will be endless opportunities to learn and make value-added contributions to the team.  This position is a great balance of strategic initiatives vs. operational deliverables.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Customer P&Ls for the PPD Division
    • Manage, develop and prepare Budget/Trend by brand by customer collaborating with all brand controllers, on the input and rationale, for presentation to senior management
    • Continuously improve the flow of data and allocation of costs Below the Line
  • Lead month-end closing activities including but not limited to:
    • Ensure the alignment of data between forecast made by Demand Planning and Finance
    • Officialization of actuals in Compass PLC
    • Development of monthly flash commentary, specifically Gross Sales to Net Sales
    • Managing PPD E-Com Channel Result, Reporting and commentary on evolution to management
    • Top launch and renovation summary
    • Gross to Net spending analysis by brand by customer
  • Manage the Promotional Planning Tool (Passport) used by the Marketing department.  Facilitate meetings regarding system enhancement requests partnering with Marketing, Finance and IT for development
  • PPD Compass PLC (Customer Cube) Key User
  • Continuously implement process improvements, automations and analytical tools for the team and across the PPD division
  • Adherence to Internal Controls established by L’Oreal ensuring group norms are respected at all times
  • Position interacts with the Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Digital teams
  • May manage and develop 1 direct report
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis of sales, sales related spending and customer contribution



  • Bachelor’s Degree – Minimum; MBA/CPA Preferred
  • Consumer Products Industry Experience Preferred But Not Required
  • 7-10 Years’ Experience in Finance or Accounting including Supervisory Experience



  • Strong Computer Skills Required; Must have Expert-Level Experience with MS Excel
  • Experience in Reporting Tools Desirable (SAP, Magnitude, COMPASS, etc.)
  • Ability to Interact and Influence All Levels of Management
  • Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Strong Written and Communication Skills
