In the post Covid context of re-invention of Travel Retail channel, L’Oréal Travel Retail Americas is accelerating its digital transformation. E-Business acceleration, precision media but also omnichannel customer experiences are hot topics. This is a great moment to join L’Oréal Travel Retail Americas team to be an actor of this exciting and ambitious digital transformation.

As Digital Marketing & Media Manager in L’Oréal Travel Retail Americas team, you will be in charge on the engagement side of building and running the media mix, defining and launching an effective O+O activation plan, collect traveler data & assess performances.

On the e-business side, your mission will be to contribute to the sell-out growth supporting e-retailers with innovations, relevant and consistent content, animation plans, UX/UI and making sure to leverage digital as a key driver of commercial negotiations.

Your mission will be to reinvent the Travel Retail Consumer journey, engaging the traveler at every step of his journey, to increase reach and store penetration, and boost conversion; and to crack new e-business models.

Candidate should have Digital media & eCommerce experiences, have strong analytical, writing and research skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to successfully bring projects to life. Must be a clear communicator, outgoing and able to champion ideas and strategic point of views with internal and external stakeholders. Strong emphasis on attention to detail, curiosity and interest to discover valuable insights, and proficiency in analytics tools, for accuracy and efficiency. Must be interested in developing or sharpening media and e-business skill set, eager to learn and be challenged in an ever-changing Retail environment.



Main Responsibilities


Digital overall Strategy

  • Contribute to the global digital strategy of L’Oréal Travel retail Americas
  • Implement relevant tools, KPIs and processes to track and measure efficiency of the strategy
  • Active monitoring and sharing of industry news, on-line marketing trends, industry tools, and internal cross-team key learning
  • Activate and execute with excellence the digital marketing and media strategy
  • Ensure consistency and optimal mix between brands as sponsor of L’Oréal group multi-brands and multi-divisions digital strategy in Travel Retail Americas
  • Participate to the digital upskilling of L’Oréal Travel Americas Team


O+O Customer engagement: Media, Data, and Services

  1. Build the media mix & strategy working with media agency and data partners, defining clear targets, KPIs and media budget allocation, organizing an effective media ecosystem and coordinating with global teams.
  2. Run the media plan managing agencies and partners on a daily basis, coordinating marketing, digital, e-commerce, sales & education teams, contributing to the commercial negotiation, monitoring the budget & performances and providing recommendations for improvements based on learnings
  3. Build and deploy O+O activations and Beauty services : framing a global seamless customer journey leveraging and scaling artificial intelligence and augmented reality, build Beauty Tech strategy, social commerce and live consultation strategy and roll-out. Adapt winning local markets best practices for Travel Retail
  4. Contribute to the traveler data collection : Contribute to the consumer data collection strategy and implement it with retailers, define plan & tactics to leverage data collected, partner with local markets for data sharing.


E-Business acceleration

  1. Provide support to e-retailers working closely to e-commerce and business unit teams to follow-up the performances, assessing UX/UI, assortments, define e-marketing and animation plans based on negotiations, and contribute to deploying e-commerce tools and marketing assets
  2. Monitor the performances of campaigns co-built with retailers and share success and area of improvement
  3. Contribute to the new e-business models strategy co-jointly with CDO team identifying new opportunities, launching proof of concept, tests and pilots.

Including but not limited to:

  • Work with CDO team to crack new business models for duty free e-business
  • Identify opportunities to drive e-retailer awareness to generate more business to L’Oréal brands
  • Participate to the digital upskilling of L’Oréal Travel Americas Team
  • Be an evangelist of agile / test & learn culture


Requirements

  • Experience in digital media and ideally in e-business (direct or indirect)
  • Experience working with multiple partners including agencies and retailers
  • Excellent understanding of all digital traffic channels and their dynamics, digital marketing tactics
  • Knowledge of performance media (Google Adwords, FB/IG, affiliation), precision advertising and attribution modeling
  • Experience in digital transformation leadership
  • Great coordination, project management and communication skills

  • Min. 3-5 years of experience in digital or retail media management, on the brand, retailer or agency side.

  • Developed practical experience in managing cooperation with media & data houses/agencies/stakeholders.
  • Act as a true business partner, bringing your expertise at the services of the Business
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Media and eCommerce/Retailer Market
  • Experience analyzing performance data and summarizing / communicating findings via reports and presentations
  • High attention to detail with the ability to efficiently prioritize and flawlessly execute projects with quality
  • Possess great leadership ability and natural ways of inspiring, guiding and influence others
  • Able to establish strong partnership with Marketing team, as expert of Digital
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
  • Have a sense of ownership complemented by strong organization and project management skills to meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
  • Experience on a digital job in the travel industry is a plus
